The analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) is important in quite a lot of application domains. Robust analysis of these compounds expands, however, the level of proper column selection and optimization of MS conditions.

Our accomplished approach, pro's and con's to analyze PAH's, independant of sample matrix or concentration level, are summarized.
